This is seriously unfair. My household income classifies me as "rich". The only problem is, I live in a part of the country where I can't even afford to buy a house on my income. So while I'm "rich" in the eyes of the government, who merrily takes upwards of 40% of my income, I literally can't afford a 2 bedroom house in my part of the country. This is insane! There needs to be a cost of living adjustment to our tax system.
